Geoff Keighley officially announced over the weekend that there will be a 2015 version of The Game Awards, confirming the news on his Twitter.
“As I announced this morning at PAX,” Keighley tweeted in reference to the inaugural PAX South this past weekend in San Antonio, “I'm excited to already be working on @thegameawards for 2015. Will share more later this Spring.”
The first year of the show was streamed live online through several outlets from Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, and featured performances from Lindsey Sterling, Imagine Dragons, and Jamie N Commons. The night's awards culminated with Dragon Age: Inquisition earning top honors as Game of the Year.
