Sony's console took down Xbox One as the number one selling console in May, according to the latest report from the NPD Group.
During the month of April, Microsoft's console stole the top spot from PS4 in the United States. Sadly for the Xbox manufacturer, that victory appears to have been short lived.
On the software side of things, CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt dominated the competition, leading the pack of May's top-selling games. Check out the top 10 list below:

It will be interesting to see how E3 2015 influences the future for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Something tells me both hardware manufacturers are going to show up with guns blazing in a fight to be number one.
