Fallout 4 Achieves Better Performance on Xbox One Than PS4 in Latest Analysis

After having played all three versions of Fallout 4 last week, I was shocked with Digital Foundry's results. Following its tests it concluded that the PS4 version runs better than on Xbox One, although not by a wide margin. For a few days this has been acknowledged as fact by most gamers, persuading many multi-console owners to go with the PS4 version despite having no promise of mods in the future.

They may have made a mistake.

A new performance analysis of the Xbox One and PS4 versions of Fallout 4 done by NX Gamer shows both versions struggling, but with the PS4 version dropping 141 frames while the Xbox One version only drops 41. See for yourself:

Ultimately, if you really care about graphics and performance you should be playing Fallout 4 on a PC, but not everyone has PC hardware ready to tackle a big game like this, which is understandable. If you really have a choice between the two console versions, the performance of each is so comparable that controller preference and the future mod support on the Xbox One version should be more important factors.
