Rumors have been floating around the web regarding new iterations of Xbox One and PS4 hitting the market in the not too distant future. Until now, all we've had to go by is the word of a few insiders. That changes today.
A manufacturing order page has leaked from a Japanese company that shows a massive order for what it calls "Xbox One Two". The order page specifies a 400,000 per week unit order that began in February 2016.
Judging by the specifics, many are convinced that the new SKU is a slim variant of the Xbox One, one that fits all current hardware into a sleeker, more efficient package. While not for certain, this would mean that the widely discussed hardware refresh isn't coming for a while longer, or not at all.
Up to this point the rumors for a PS4 "Neo" hardware refresh have been much more convincing than those related to Xbox One. If it turns out that Microsoft isn't invested in more powerful hardware to compete with PlayStation Neo, then it has a tough road ahead.
