Ghost Recon Wildlands Comes Out of the Shadows With New Trailer

Ubisoft has revealed a new narrated trailer for Ghost Recon Wildlands, just in case you forgot it exists, that shows off the rapid gunfire and the gorgeous Bolivian environments of the game.

Within the first thirty seconds of the trailer, we see a team of "ghosts" walking through snowy mountaintops, salt flats, thick jungles, and foggy, ashen forests, all in the hunt to end the Santa Blanca drug cartel. In a post on the official Ubisoft blog, Giancarlo Varanini, Ubisoft's Content Communications Manager, says that Ubisoft Paris wanted to make sure to translate "real-world Bolivia's most extreme conditions."

Luckily, you won't have to trudge through the environments on foot (unless you want to), as the trailer does reveal a bevy of vehicles including a Gatling gun-mounted buggy, a patrol boat, Humvees, trucks, an APC, dirt bikes, and helicopters.

While there is still no confirmed release window for Ghost Recon Wildlands, it will release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and will have a Deluxe Edition ($70) that comes with exclusive in-game vehicles and weapons. One step higher than that, the Gold Edition ($100) will include everything in the Deluxe Edition as well as the full Season Pass, while the Collector's Edition (comes in Standard, Deluxe, and Gold version for $60 extra) will come with a Santa Muerte figurine and collectible posters.

Pre-ordering the game will net you a special bonus mission named The Peruvian Connection, which will take you to the mountains of Bolivia in pursuit of the "Peruvian counterparts" of the Santa Blanca.
