World of Warcraft has seen a significant increase in patch frequency since the debut of Legion. That will continue next week with the second major update in a six month period.
Blizzard has revealed that World of Warcraft: Legion's 7.2 patch will be released on March 28th. The patch, being called The Tomb of Sargeras, includes a variety of additions that apply to both casual and hardcore players, such as:
- New dungeon: The Cathedral of Eternal Night
- New scenario: The Broken Shore
- New class campaigns
- Demon Assaults
- Pet Battle Dungeon
- PvP Brawl
- Flying in The Broken Isles
- A 'Sets' tab in the transmogrification window
- Visual updates for Hunters, Death Knights, and Balance Druids
- Tab targeting changes
- And More
Along with the release announcement is a trailer, which can be seen above.
As hinted by the name, this patch will continue the narrative of Legion as players head into the upper chambers of the Tomb of Sargeras where the Burning Legion has corrupted what was once a place of worship for moon goddess Elune.
A series of new quests will be available for all classes that take them to a new quest hub on the Broken Shore. The new area incorporates a faction to earn reputation from, as well as the ability to earn a class exclusive mount.
