Thanks to the folks at Walmart and Amazon, we've finally got a few details on the upcoming Call of Duty game for the PlayStation Vita. Sony had nothing more than a logo to show for Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified during their E3 presser, so it's great to have a few bits of actual information to chew on.
The listing description from both retailers reads: “Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.”
Nothing all too surprising here, but it sounds like the single player will be broken up into smaller objective-based missions akin to what we've seen in the Spec Ops mode of other Call of Duty titles. The game is also priced at $49.96, making it a bit pricier than the average Vita game. Oh yeah, and then there's this:
Looks pretty slick, huh? Or am I the only one who gets excited about box art…
