Japanese gamers were fortunate enough to receive Persona 4: Golden last week on PlayStation Vita. Atlus's update to the PS2 RPG performed… fairly well at market and even gave the Vita hardware a bump on Media Create sales charts.
Persona 4: Golden topped the charts with 137,076 units sold through. Those are healthy one-week figures for a Vita-exclusive title, belying the stagnating sales Sony has seen in the land of the rising sun. As a result, the PlayStation Vita sold through 34,459 units landing in second place behind the Nintendo 3DS.
… I'll probably buy like… five Vitas and… 10 copies of Persona 4: Golden when it lands in the West October 23rd. So… yeah.
