By now you've probably seen screenshots of ultra-realistic Grand Theft Auto IV images. Many of these are thanks in-part to a mod called iCEnhancer which takes GTAIV's already hardware-demanding engine and pumps it full of testosterone. After a few years of tweaking iCEnhancer has just been updated to its final version, numbered 2.1, and it takes the game to a whole new level of realism with improved lens flare, better colors, improved framerates, and a bucket full of eye candy.
Take a peek at the trailer for iCEnhancer 2.1 below and enjoy the visual stimuli:
This might be the final version of iCEnhancer for GTAIV, but its designer isn't done with tweaking games to look as jaw-dropping as possibe. He's now working on bringing the same level of detail to Minecraft and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Although improvements to Minecraft are probably limited, it's almost scary to think what he can do with Skyrim.
