Time for another unexpected announcement of the day. Ubisoft has announced that starting today through October 16th, there is an official fart contest in association with South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Didn’t have the chops to make it on America’s Got Talent? So you thought you could dance but really couldn’t?
Then perhaps the “I Am the Fart” international contest is for you. Ubisoft is looking for the most intense fart sounds that you can muster up. For those interested in breaking the wind in hopes of fame and glory, you can go to the official fart contest website right now in hopes of making it truly silent but deadly.
What you need to do is simply upload a video through the website of your best gas-passing skills. Don’t let the parody nature of this contest fool you, though, as it also has its own rules and guidelines that must be followed.

Your video can only be a maximum of ten seconds in length, and must not have any other sounds outside of your toots featured in it. As sound is such an important part of the contest, this unfortunately excludes any silent fart aficionados.
Every rule-abiding fart video can be viewed right now and voted on depending on your favorites. The top ten videos with the highest votes from the community will move onto the second phase, where they are voted on by the official fart jury composed of three totally qualified judges.
The winner of this stinky contest will win a trip to San Francisco to record their signature fart in the studio. It will become the official fart for The Fractured But Whole. This is all to celebrate the protagonist of the upcoming South Park game, where their flatulence is their superpower. The game releases later this month on October 17th.
