Shenmue 3 Gets Some Brand New Screenshots

A brand new batch of Shenmue 3 screenshots has arrived, with fans of the series getting a glimpse at the highly-anticipated sequel.

The new screenshots were unveiled during the Magic Monaco event in Paris, with them offering a closer look at Shenmue 3‘s characters and environments.

There is still limited information about the upcoming game, with developers YS Net having been relatively quiet about its progress since its surprise reveal at E3 2015. Since then, designer Yu Suzuki launched a hugely successful crowdfunding campaign to bring the project to life, with it having been in development since then.

Shenmue 3 was delayed past its 2017 launch window last year, with its release moved into 2018. While YS Net has a publishing deal with Sony to make the game a PS4 console exclusive, it is also projected to release on PC at some point in the future. The game’s producer recently suggested that this PC port could release sooner rather than later.
