PSN Down on Monster Hunter World Launch Day

PSN is down on Monster Hunter World‘s launch day, with many reporting issues across the PlayStation Network.

This is particularly bad news for owners of Monster Hunter World, with the game’s release day now being blighted by these PSN problems. The same goes for those who picked up Dragon Ball FighterZ today, with both sets of players unable to play their brand new games

Those trying to access PSN are being greeted with a message indicated that its “servers are currently undergoing maintenance,” with the Ask PlayStation account tweeting: “We’re aware that some users are experiencing issues logging into PSN. Thanks for your patience as we investigate.”

According to the official PlayStation Network Status page, these issues currently affect all of PSN’s features, including gaming and social, account management, and online services such as PlayStation Store and PlayStation Music.

The outages first started at around 12 am EST, though there is currently no timeframe for a fix. It looks like Monster Hunter World and Dragon Ball FighterZ players will just have to buckle up and hope these problems will be resolved sooner rather than later.
