Fortnite patch 1.46 may have brought the hunting rifle and more goodies to the Battle Royale party, but there could still be more to come. According to files found in the game code, a Fortnite dinosaur skin, new outfits and new Fortnite emotes might be on the way.
Fortnite Intel discovered a cutesy Fortnite dinosaur skin, which is part-Reptar and part-Boo from Monsters Inc. It’s sure to strike fear in the hearts of, well, no-one, but that doesn’t mean the Rex Outfit and its accompanying Scaly Back Bling isn’t worth its rumored Legendary status. I mean, look at it!
Elsewhere, the Burnout outfit (nothing to do with Burnout Paradise Remastered… we think) is for those who aim to put the pedal to the metal as soon as they step off the Battle Bus. That, along with the Rogue Agent Outfit and Catalyst Back Bling are both designated Epic.
The Rare outfits possibly coming to the game are the garish Radiant Striker and Brilliant Striker outfits. If you’re one of those players who likes to hide in bushes, it might be best to steer clear of this one.
There’s even a trio of pickaxes for you to mine your way through. The Pick Squad Pickaxe is an awful pun and a surefire hit with anyone looking to troll their foes. Slightly more normal picks come in the shape of the Rare Empire Axe Pickaxe and Tactical Spade Pickaxe.
That’s still not all. Three emotes that are bound to rile up rivals could also be headed your way. They are the ‘Flippin’ Sexy’ emote, the Thriller-esque Reanimation emote and the classic Make It Rain emote. Sure, it’s not quite a Fortnite dinosaur skin, but it’s not far off in the so-bad-it’s-actually-bloody-brilliant stakes.
