Soul Calibur 6 Talim has finally been revealed. This fan-favorite character was revealed with both a trailer and short description. Prior to Talim, the last character to be announced for the game was Yoshimitsu. The Soul Calibur 6 Talim press release provided by publisher Bandai Namco gave more information on the character:
“Talim is a selfless and innocent girl, nicknamed The Last Priestess of the Winds, who fights with dual Elbow Blades and uses the wind to slice through her opponents like a blade. With her unique battle style using the wind that allows her to jump and dodge at any moment, Talim has an unpredictable edge over her opponents that both old and new players”.
Many Soul Calibur fans will be happy to see that Talim has been announced for Soul Calibur 6. The popular character has been requested by fans to be in the latest entry of the Soul Calibur series since the game was revealed last year. Following the reveal of Soul Calibur 6 at last year’s The Game Awards, Bandai Namco has slowly been revealing characters for the upcoming fighting game. Characters such as Siegfried, Zasalamel and Taki have been revealed for the sixth installment of the series and have been met with praise by fans.
Bandai Namco also revealed a brand new character for the series called Groh, who looks as if he will play a big role in Soul Calibur VI‘s story. Soul Calibur VI is also known for its guest characters and the upcoming entry features the “White Wolf” Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series. Another thing that fans have been asking for is the character creator. The character creator for Soul Calibur 6 has been mentioned but has not yet been revealed.
Soul Calibur 6 is scheduled to release on October 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
