Have you ever wondered what it’s like to own your own marijuana business, but don’t want to get arrested? Devolver Digital has got you covered. Today, the company has announced Weedcraft Inc, a weed management simulator. You’ll grow, sell, and buy Mary Jane in an attempt to reach the top of the narcotics game.
To celebrate the announcement of its new game, Devolver Digital has supplied us with a trailer and some accompanying details. You can watch the trailer below:
Explaining the game in some detail, Devolver says that “Weedcraft Inc explores the business of producing, breeding and selling weed in America, delving deep into the financial, political and cultural aspects of the country’s complex relationship with this troublesome and promising plant.” You’ll have to “prioritize resources carefully” in order to “manage the production and distribution” of your weed. If you don’t want your business to go up in a puff of smoke, you’ll want to “produce killer plants” and “cross-breed them to create unique strains of the devil’s lettuce.” Not only this, but you’ll have to hire the correct staff as everyone has their own agendas.
As you’ll be growing and selling the ganja, the police and local politicians will get involved. It’s a political game. You’ll be able to approach the tricky subject in any way you deem necessary. Want to make it legal? Push your local politicians. Simply want the police to leave you alone? Pay them off. What happens in Weedcraft Inc is entirely up to you. Your aim is to grow your garage weed business into a full-on network throughout the 3D city. You’ll be given tasks to complete within the game’s narrative and a whole host of colorful characters will appear.
