If there's one thing I think everyone was betting wouldn't change with the PlayStation 4, it's the controller design. Sony has stuck with the same general form factor ever since they entered the gaming business with the original PlayStation. The DualShock has become synonymous with the PlayStation brand, but according to a new report, that may very well change with the PS4.

CVG allegedly spoke with an inside source that is currently working on a title for Sony that claimed the company is actually kicking around several different ideas for the console's controller design. Some have a touchscreen built in, while others feature biometrics support, and still others are a bit more in line with the traditional design.

Is it possible that Sony is planning to actually bring to market that wacky pull-apart controller that features Move support? At this point all we can do is speculate, so don't start panicking just yet.

Would you like to see Sony go with a completely redesigned controller or should they stick with the standard DualShock? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
