By now, you’ve probably seen a handful of people stomping about in Fallout 76 Ultracite Power Armor. Admit it, you’re jealous. If you want to get your hands on the endgame equipment, you’re going to have to find the Ultracite Power Armor location. Even worse, if you can’t get that far (it’s a level 50 piece of gear for a reason) then you’re going to need to know how to craft the Ultracite Power Armor and where to find Ultracite Ore. One word of warning: bring ammo. Lots of ammo.
Fallout 76 Ultracite Power Armor Location
To find Ultracite Power Armor in Fallout 76 you’re going to, number one, be Level 50 and, two, complete the final Brotherhood of Steel quest “Belly of the Beast.” No spoilers here, but the quest in a long and arduous one, meaning you’ll have to be well-stocked.
At the end of it, you’ll be gifted a complete set of Ultracite Power Armor. For the avoidance of doubt, that’s the Ultracite Helmet, Ultracite Torso, plus both Leg and Arm components.
Where to Find Ultracite Ore and How to Craft Ultracite Power Armor
But nothing lasts forever. So, if you want a spare set of Fallout 76 Ultracite Armor, you’re going to need to know where to find the materials to craft it. Namely, you’ll need some Ultracite Ore, the key component in crafting these big metal tin cans. First up, though, is what you’ll need to craft each piece of gear:

Most of those resources can be plucked up from any old shack or town, but the Ultracite Ore location is far tougher to figure out.
The main two methods of getting some Ultracite Ore are as follows: Completing the side quest “The Motherlode” (found while browsing the Foyer terminal at Hornwright Industrial Headquarters, or heading to the Glassed Cavern. The twists and turns of the tunnels will eventually give way to veins of Ultracite ore, fresh for you to mine.
Failing that, head to any of the Fissure Sites you will almost certainly have come across in your travels for a guaranteed slice of the Ultracite pie!
