The Merry Marauder outfit first appeared in Fortnite in December 2017. It’s back this year, but with a twist. Essentially, the Burnt Gingerbread Man skin in Fortnite is the Merry Marauder outfit from before but burnt. It’s been left in the oven too long and has come out a touch charred and smoking. The Burnt Gingerbread Man Skin is a neat one and looks especially festive. We’re instantly reminded of all those times we tried to make gingerbread at Christmas, only to fall asleep by the fire and wake up to the smell of burning.
Better still, we are able to edit the burnt gingerbread man outfit. You can choose to have him with a burnt smile or burnt frown.
Fortnite Burnt Gingerbread Man – How to Get the Burnt Merry Marauder Outfit
The Fortnite Burnt Gingerbread Man skin is part of the Gingerbread Set. Unfortunately, as the skin has only been leaked, it is as yet unknown exactly how you can unlock it. Some players already have it in their locker, however, and others claim it will be part of the store tomorrow. Our advice? If it is, it will likely set you back a fair amount of V-Bucks; the original Merry Marauder costs 1,500.
Another possibility, however, is that the Burnt Gingerbread Man outfit will be a reward for taking part in a potential Christmas themed in-game event as there are now 14 days of Fortnite treats to look forward to.
