The Division 2 Private Beta Echo-01 error has been causing headaches for many playing the Beta since it started. As this is a Beta, however, bugs, glitches, and error codes are to be expected. Despite this, the Division 2 Echo-01 error is an annoying one. Read on to discover what the error is and if there is a Division 2 Beta Echo-01 error fix.
What is The Division 2 Beta Echo-01 error?
Players have been reporting instances of the Echo-01 error since the Division 2 Beta launched. During gameplay, players have been getting kicked out of servers. When trying to log back in players have been finding out that their account is locked, with the Echo-01 message appearing. Don’t worry, though, your account won’t be locked for long, at least.
It appears as though the cause of the error is unknown, but at least it is now an officially known error. Ubisoft has provided us with a quick fix if you have been on the receiving end of the error.
The Division 2 Beta Echo-01 error fix
Thankfully, there is a simple fix for those of you affected by the dreaded Echo-01 error. While you likely won’t be rid of it for good, at least you will be able to get back into the game. Eventually, anyway. Thanks to the official Ubisoft Support Forums, we know of an official fix. “If you are experiencing” the Echo-01 “issue, please log out of the game, wait for 10-15 minutes and try again. At that point, you should be able to play normally.”
While it doesn’t read like a full-on fix for the Echo-01 error, at least you will be able to continue playing The Division 2 Beta. Hopefully, Ubisoft will find the root cause of the issue and patch it out entirely. It should be gone by the time the full game releases in March later this year, hopefully.
