Unlike most of the objectives in the game, The Division 2Missing Curators and Missing Scavengers side mission locations aren’t given their own map markers, meaning there’s no clear waypoint to follow. This could lead to some players believing the missions to be glitched or bugged. However, that is not the case. You see, these are hidden side missions, and so it’s neither a bug nor glitch causing their locations to be missing. Developer Massive Entertainment seems to simply hope that you’d discover them naturally, through progressing through the game. With that said, these hidden side mission locations can be a pest to track down, and so we’ve put together an easy map on how to find The Division 2 Missing Curators and Missing Scavengers side mission locations.
The Division 2 Missing Curators side mission location
First up is The Division 2 Missing Curators side mission location, which is found near to the Castle Settlement. This is especially tricky to find, as it is beneath the ground, accessible from the southern road, next to the Control Point.
Speak to the NPC inside and you’ll then start the Missing Curators mission.
The Division 2 Missing Scavengers side mission location
Next, we have The Division 2 Missing Scavengers side mission location. This is to the west of the White House, and south of the Campus Settlement.
Head to the location, speak to the relevant NPC, and that will start The Division 2 Missing Scavengers side mission.
It seems that these side missions are added to your mission list when joining another agent, either via Matchmaking (a must for missions where you’re playing solo) or through joining as backup. If that agent has started these hidden side missions, then you will have the objective added to your current missions. This appears to be what’s causing the missions to appear in the mission list, without players actually having initiated them themselves.
