Atlus has just announced that a new proper entry in its Shin Megami Tensei series will be headed to the Nintendo 3DS quite soon. Dubbed Shin Megami Tensei IV, this new portable title will launch this summer and feature a number of beloved hallmarks from the series.
According to the publisher, SMT4 is not only "the first true successor to 2004's Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne," but also features a number of exciting additions including game-influencing decisions that will lead to branching storylines. "Decisions players make throughout the course of the story will have lasting repercussions, as the fate of the world hangs in the balance."
You'll be able to recruit over 400 different demons over the course of the game, and the strategy-filled "Press Turn" battle system will back, which I'm sure will please fans of the franchise.
