Xbox Game Pass price reduced to $1 for new subscribers

The Xbox Game Pass price has been reduced to $1 for new subscribers, so if you haven’t yet given the subscription service a go, it’ll now cost just a single dollar to try it out for three months. This is a huge price drop from the usual $29.97 quarterly subscription price tag.

For those unfamiliar with the Xbox Game Pass, it’s Microsoft’s Xbox One subscription service, which boasts immediate access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games. New games are added every month, meaning there’s always something new to check out.

If you do take Microsoft up on this $1 for three months offer, you’ll get to enjoy April’s selection of games, which include Monster Hunter World and Life is Strange, in addition to the 100+ other games already found within the Game Pass vault.

Other new additions include: Crackdown 3, The Lego Movie VideogameMinecraft, Fallout 4Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3Shadow of the Tomb RaiderJust Cause 3Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, F1 2018Lego Batman 2, and Just Cause 4.

It’s important to note, however, that while you will get to play as many of these games as you want, you won’t technically own them. If you end your subscription service, you will also terminate your access to any games you’ve played, even if you have them downloaded to your system. (Though your progress will be safe, ready to continue should you subscribe again.)

It’s also worth warning those who sign up to the Xbox Game Pass service with the aim of only spending $1, to be sure to monitor auto-renewal on your account, as Microsoft will be looking to charge the full price for subsequent months.
