Saints Row The Third Switch trailer debuts and shows off new port

Next month, the Saints will make their long awaited return but to a new platform. And Deep Silver is welcoming them with open arms with a new trailer for the Saints Row The Third Switch port that is coming on May 10. This is also the Full Package edition, meaning it has all the DLC.

The trailer, which appears below, gives us a good idea of what to expect from the port. It appears to have the same shooting and mechanics that we’ve seen in the previous versions of the game on the previous generation. However, it now has couch co-op, a feature that was exclusively online in the other versions.

Here’s the overview of the game, provided straight from the publisher:

“The Saints are back. And this time, they’re portable. Put the wildest chapter of the Saints Row saga in the palm of your hands on Switch. It’s time for you to bring the fight to Steelport. This is your City. These are your rules. Saints Row The Third: The Full Package gives you control of the Third Street Saints at the height of their power.

Years after taking Stillwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Play the definitive release of one of gaming’s most beloved series, with new features for Nintendo Switch.”

Along with the full main game, Saints Row also features access to all of its downloadable content packs. This is right on the cartridge, so you can pop in and play. It’s also available as a digital download, and is up for pre-order on the eShop. You can also have a friend jump in via co-op and see just how crazy your gang antics can get.

Saints Row The Third: The Full Package features over 30 hours of content, and that’s not even including the madness you can raise just driving around and using weapons. And yes, that includes the iconic dildo bat.
