Following Microsoft's announcement that the "new generation" of Xbox will be revealed next month, Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter took to Twitter to share a few of his own thoughts on the upcoming event.
"I think Sony was smart to do a press reveal, MSFT also smart. Better to build anticipation into E3, allows us to focus on games in June," he explained, adding, "I don't expect pricing or launch date announcements May 21. Rather, we'll hear about features/specs, including answers to 'always connected'".
As far as software goes, Mr. Pachter believes the event will be quite similar to Sony's but with one major addition, according to X360 Magazine. “I’m sure we will get the same thing we got at the Sony event, but we’ll probably see an actual box at this one,” he said.
What do you think we'll see from Microsoft on May 21st? Will it be able to stand up to Sony's epic event? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
