The Razer Blade 15 has returned and one of the world’s best gaming laptops has some new tricks up its sleeve. Upgrades have been deployed to both the Base and Advanced models of the laptops including more powerful graphics options, stunning new displays, and powerful 9th generation Intel Core i7 processors.
One of the most obvious highlights of the new Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop models is the shiny new screens. The Base and Advanced versions both have brilliant 15.6″ displays, but that’s where the similarities end. The Base model simply provides a smooth 60 Hz framerate in full HD resolution, but the Advanced model brings out the big guns with 144Hz in Full HD or 4K Touch in select markets.
Of course, those beautiful screens won’t count for much without the graphics to back it up and both versions of the laptop deliver beautifully. The GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q provides steady graphics horsepower for the Base model of the Razer Blade 15. If you’re truly out for a high-end experience, the Advanced model will give you your choice of either a GeForce RTX 2060, GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, or a GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q.
The rest of the specs show that the Razer Blade 15 is no slouch. It will come included with 16GB of Dual-Channel memory, a 256GB SSD (which can be upgraded if you so desire), and a 9th generation Intel Core i7. All of this power fits into a tiny package ranging from 0.70″–0.78″. Of course, this is a Razer laptop — we can’t forget about the pretty lights! The Base model comes with Razer Chroma and the Advanced model ups the ante with per-key Chroma.
