Despite the fact that Windows 8 has proven to hardly be the most popular operating system of all time, Microsoft has managed to reach the 100 million mark in sales.
In an effort to improve the OS for both PC users and those who make use of Windows 8 on other devices, the company will be releasing an update in the form of Windows Blue.
"We've considered a lot of different scenarios to help traditional PC users move forward as well as making usability that much better on all devices," Tami Reller, co-head of Microsoft's Windows division told Reuters when discussing the update.
There's no word on exactly what this new update will bring, but hopefully it marks a turnaround for the relatively unpopular OS.
