The mysterious count-up clock with a barcode on the official PlayStation Japan website has hit the magical number, revealing a trailer for a new game called Panopticon. But that's really all we know at the moment.
As you'll see in the trailer below, no platform is listed, and it's not immediately clear what the game is about or even the type of game it might be. It does appear, however, to be a JRPG or action-RPG of some sort, using an art style similar to Gravity Rush on the PS Vita. Which makes sense given that the developer is Sony's Japan Studio. But it also makes choosing a platform that much more difficult without seeing a logo.
More information is due on May 21st—which just so happens to be the same day as the Xbox reveal. Sony, you cheeky bastards. Although, I don't think this'll detract from Microsoft's big news, it's good planning on Sony's part.
