5 Games That Might Be Announced At Microsoft’s E3 Presser

Microsoft disappointed just about every gamer on the face of the planet with its Xbox One reveal. The console's name is lame, games have taken a backseat to television, and Kinect will apparently be watching your every move. There's no doubt that the Xbox One has an uphill battle to face going into E3, and the only way Microsoft can sell consumers on this product is by wowing the masses with games, games, and more games.

We know RyseForza 5Quantum Break, and a few others will be there, but what about the surprises that Microsoft has still got up its sleeve? What could that new studio Black Tusk be working on? Here are a few titles we think The Big M might reveal during its E3 presser.

Killer Instinct 3

From trademark disputes to recent teases, there's certainly reason to believe that a new Killer Instinct is in the works for Xbox One. As one of Rare's most prized franchises, KI would be a great way to win back the trust of hardcore gamers who grew up with the originals back in the day. Plus, it certainly would be in Microsoft's best interest to broaden the diversity of its first-party portfolio, and an exclusive fighter like KI3 would undoubtedly do the trick.

Crackdown 3

During the Xbox One reveal, a Crackdown orb was spotted on the console dashboard when MS was debuting the system's new interface to the world. While this by no means confirms the game's existence, a new entry in the open-world action series certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility. What better way to show off the power of a new console than with a sprawling sandbox for players to explore and get lost in for hours on end?

Mirror's Edge 2

Yeah, I know I'm double-dipping, but this one could really be shown at either the EA or Microsoft presser, and with mounting support that it's an Xbox One-exclusive, I'm beginning to believe it will be at the latter. Electronic Arts has a whole bunch of content its planning to unveil at E3, so why not throw a bit of love Microsoft's way and win over the Mirror's Edge fanboys during the first press conference of the expo? Xbox One could certainly benefit from a few more third-party exclusives, and Mirror's Edge 2 would most definitely be a nice feather in the console's cap.

Fable 4/MMO

Lionhead Studios is responsible for Microsoft's prized role-playing franchise Fable, and you can bet that the team is working on more than just the recently announced high-definition remake of the original for Xbox 360. There's a good chance we'll see the studio finally take the plunge and make Fable a full-scale MMO, and I really hope that turns out to be the case. The Fable franchise has been growing a bit stale over the years and an ambitious new take on the formula may just reignite the interest of fans.

Free-To-Play MOBA (League of Legends?)

Microsoft is in the business of making money and if the success that Riot Games has had with Legaue of Legends hasn't caught the Big M's attention, then the company is most definitely asleep at the wheel. I expect Microsoft to go after the free-to-play market by either announcing a new MOBA of their own or (more likely) getting Riot to bring League of Legends to the Xbox One. I mean, honestly, it would be foolish of them not to, don't you think?
