The Fortnite World Cup has been an explosive competition that showcases the best of the best in Fortnite esports. We’re fast-approaching the Fortnite World Cup Finals after the online opens narrowed the competitive field. Here’s everything you need to know leading up to the climax of this intense esports competition.

The Fortnite World Cup Finals takes place from July 26-28 in New York City’s Arthur Ashe Stadium. The $30 million prize pool is worth the watch, but be warned: Tickets to the stadium are sold out, so the only way to view the competition is online. Epic Games will be live streaming the event on its Twitch and YouTube channels.

Epic Games held qualifying rounds for the tournament throughout April. Players earned points in weekly singles or duos tournaments. Winners of the qualifying tournaments each received part of the weekly one million dollar prize pool. Players with the highest number of points at the end of the qualifiers were invited to compete in the Fortnite World Cup Finals. The winner of the finals will receive three million dollars and be crowned the world’s best Fortnite player.
