Following a brand-new Pokemon Sword and Shield trailer, Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, and Game Freak have unveiled a host of brand new Pokemon, characters, and more that you can discover in Sword and Shield. This includes the newly-announced Pokemon Sword and Shield Galarian forms of Pokemon from previous games in the long-running series. In this guide, we’ll show you all of the currently confirmed Galarian forms of Pokemon in Sword and Shield, as well as any other new Pokemon designs which feature multiple forms. Pokemon Sword and Shield Galarian Forms List
As stated above, Nintendo today (Augst 7, 2019) showed off new Pokemon Sword and Shield features, including Galarian Forms of old Pokemon designs. These Galarian Forms offer up new interpretations of classic Pokemon, with altered designs and Types. This is actually a returning feature from Pokemon Sun and Moon’s Alola Forms but updated for the seemingly U.K.-based Galar region.

Unfortunately, only a few of the new Galarian forms of old Pokemon have been confirmed as of writing. Fret not, though, as this will be a guide that we’ll keep updated whenever Nintendo announces more new Galarian Forms. For now, though, read through the complete list of Galarian Form Pokemon in Sword and Shield:
Galarian Weezing
The Galarian form of Weezing is perhaps the most drastic redesign of the lot. This industrial revolution-based design features a glorious mustache and two tall top hats emitting (apparently) perfectly clean smoke. Galarian Weezing is Poison/Fairy Type, stands at 9’10”, and weighs 35.3 lbs. One of its abilities is Levitate.
Galarian Zigzagoon
Zigzagoon has been turned black and white thanks to its Galarian Form. Now Dark/Normal instead of plain ol’ Normal, too. Its abilities are Pickup/Gluttony. It stands tall at 1’4″ and weighs in at 38.6 lbs. You’ll find the Galarian Zigzagoon just about everywhere across the Galar region. Supposedly, too, it’s the oldest branch of the Zigzagoon species.
Galarian Linoone
Just like the Galarian Form of Zigzagoon, the Galarian Linoone is black and white, too. Again, it is a Dark/Normal Type rather than just being Normal as it is in other regions. It stands tall at 1’8″ and weighs in at 71.7 lbs. Like Zigzagoon again, its abilities are Pickup/Gluttony. Apparently, the Galarian Linooe can reach speeds of 60 MPH and higher and can even knock a car away. Unlike previous Forms of Linoone, the Galarian Linoone can evolve. The Galarian version of Linoone can evolve into Obstagoon.
Pokemon Sword and Shield | Pokemon with Multiple Forms
It’s not just the Galarian Forms of Pokemon in Sword and Shield that have different Forms. There’s at least one new Pokemon in Sword and Shield that has multiple Forms of its own. Again, this is a guide that we’ll be updating whenever Nintendo announces any Galar Forms or new Pokemon with multiple Forms that you can make use of. Morpeko
Morpeko is a brand-new Pokemon that is being introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield. It’s officially a Two-Sided Pokemon (according to the Pokemon website). It’s an Electric/Dark Type Pokemon that stands tall at 1′ and weighs in at 6.6 lbs. Morpeko’s Ability is the interesting aspect of this hamster-like Pokemon: Hunger Switch.
Morpeko will change Form after each and every turn, going between its Full Belly Mode and its Hangry Mode. This form change alters Morpeko’s appearance and changes its signature move: Aura Wheel. In Full Belly Mode, Aura Wheel is Electric Type, while in Hangry Mode, Aura Wheel is Dark Type.
