In addition to the tour of Ancient Greece, the 1.5.0 update will also be addressing some minor in-game issues that will aim to make playing even more enjoyable.

The Lost Tales of Greece

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey August Update

The Lost Tales of Greece is a set of free episodic stories that have been releasing as post-launch content after the game launched back in October 2018.  The episodes feature new and old characters, allowing players to complete quests that will take a deeper dive into a character’s history. With the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey August update, Ubisoft will be adding a new The Lost Tales of Greece story, titled Old Flames Burn Brighter, which is currently live in the game.

Story Creator Mode

The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Story Creator Mode launched two months ago and allows fans to create their own stories with beloved characters from the game. It has been a hit thus far and Ubisoft has added three big changes that will make it even more of an enjoyable experience. A list of the changes can be seen in the list below.

  • Inventory/Objective Starter – Allows players to start a new quest using quest items as a condition
  • Patrol Behavior – Allows players better control over patrols
  • Website Update – The Story Creator Mode website is getting some updates, allowing players to save stories for later, create and share playlists, and queue stories

Ubisoft has also revealed that they are testing out an update that will allow players to have dialogues between more than two characters in the Story Creator Mode. This feature is still being tested, however, if it is successful, it could be added in September.

Ikaros Pack and The Eagle’s Shadow Event

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey August Update

The final Assassin’s Creed Odyssey August update changes are adding in new items and a limited-time event. The Ikaros Pack will be available on August 27 in the store and will contain a gear set, a mount, and a bow.

In addition to the new items, Ubisoft is adding in a limited time event known as The Eagle’s Shadow. This is a five-day event that will give players the chance to unlock two new heroes. The event will allow players to travel to Acre in 1191, where they will find themselves in the middle of the Third Crusade. Players will play as Altair or Maria and must prevent an attack from the Templars and Montferrat. The event will begin on August 7 and will give players the chance to unlock Altair Ibn-La’Ahad and Maria Thrope.
