Here’s What The PS4 Bundled Headset Looks Like

Over the course of the last month, the PlayStation 4 has been confirmed to come with one DualShock 4 controller, a power cord, a USB cord (for charging purposes, I bet), a set of instructions, an HDMI cable, and a mono headset.

We've seen the controller and console showcased at E3 2013 at the heart of the Sony booth, but now we have photos (pictured above) of the full set and a shot of how the headset will look attached to the DualShock 4 (pictured below). Both shots have been revealed via the official site for Amazon.co.uk.

Perhaps following the lead of the Xbox 360 controller, the headset port is situated along the bottom of the DualShock 4. The wired mono headset has a blue and black design, though it doesn't have an ear piece for both ears and it looks rather loose. If you have the new wireless Astro headset, I heartily recommend that… this is the next-generation, right? You shouldn't have to worry about wires.

That said, as Daniel noted to me, it's strange that the PlayStation 4 is the one that comes bundled with a headset while the Xbox One doesn't. Apparently, the entire next generation will be comprised of opposite days. What do you guys and gals think of the bundled headset?
