WWE 2K20 preorder bonus

WWE 2K20 preorder bonus includes playable ‘FrankenStrowman,’ ‘The Fiend,’ and more

2K has revealed its WWE 2K20 preorder bonus, which offers more content than ever to excitable grappling fans who pre-purchase this year’s annual wrestling game. The announcement also offered a first look at the WWE 2K20 Originals content, which had only previously been teased, with all preorders coming bundled with the horror-themed Bump in the Night content pack.

Appropriately timed for the game’s launch just over a week prior to Halloween, the most notable inclusion is two playable wrestlers: “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, who recently made his in-ring debut at SummerSlam, and “FrankenStrowman” Braun Strowman, a fantasy version of WWE’s Monster Among Men styled as Frankenstein’s monster, originating from the famous Mary Shelley novel.

That’s far from everything, however, as the package also includes a new 2K Showcase, new 2K Towers, additional horror-themed WWE Superstars, arenas, and more. It’ll set you back $14.99 if you don’t preorder the game, or failing that, buy the WWE 2K20 Deluxe or Collector’s Edition.

In the 2K Showcase, a “Swampfather” variation on Bray Wyatt lures fellow WWE superstar Finn Bálor to the Wyatt Compound in order to recruit him into an already established group of Superstars comprising his “Family.” Finn, presumably under player control, must fight in a series of matches in order to escape. These bouts feature exclusive commentary which is said to “bring the story to life.”

The Mortal Kombat-style 2K Towers included are:

  • “The Fiend” — Bray Wyatt’s very own tower
  • “All Fed Up” — Sheamus must battle zombie Superstars
  • “Nowhere to Run” — Nikki Cross is looking to “play”
  • “One of the Family” — Daniel Bryan must make like Finn Bálor and evade “Swampfather” Wyatt
  • “Nowhere to Hide” — Mandy Rose seeks to put an end to Nikki Cross’ games

In addition to the playable “FrankenStrowman” Braun Strowman, plus “Fiend” and “Swampfather” Bray Wyatt variations, further characters in the Bump in the Night content pack include “Demon King” Finn Bálor, “Wicked” Aleister Black, “Unleashed Apex Predator” Randy Orton, “Fed-Up” Sheamus, and two more characters currently being kept under wraps. All of these characters can be pitted against one another in the new Wyatt Swamp and Cemetery Brawl Arenas. If those still aren’t enough preorder goodies for you, there are also new Create-a-Superstar and Create-an-Arena parts for you to customize your own settings and characters with. New weapons and wrestling moves then round out a very complete package.

Preorders are now live, so if you want to get your hands on WWE 2K20 and the Bump in the Night WWE 2K20 preorder bonus, which will also be available for individual purchase, be sure to place an order on either the Xbox One or PS4 version before the game launches on October 22.
