No Man’s Sky Faction Reputation

The first step to knowing how to improve your Faction reputation in No Man’s Sky is to get to know the different races. Gek

The Gek race are from Balaron, a water-based system, and thus have an amphibian appearance. They are traders by nature, and most early encounters with them will require players to hand over some Units. They are a rather crass group of people, and will often have a pragmatic response when engaging with them in dialogue. Players are able to gain reputation with the Gek Faction by having successful dialogues, helping out distressed Geks, and reporting crimes. Ranking up in reputation with the Gek race will earn players new dialogue options, shield recharges, healing, repair requests, and Carbon. Three of the most notable Geks include Polo, a researcher; Overseer, a construction specialist; and Farmer, a farming specialist.

Korvax

The Korvax race is an intellectual, mechanical Faction with members that are always seeking to know more abut themselves and the world around them. Players are able to gain reputation with the Korvax Faction by helping them out with their various research needs. Ranking up in reputation with the Korvax race will earn players new dialogue, shield recharges, healing abilities, repair requests, and Carbon. Two of the most notable members of the Korvax Faction are Nada, a researcher Priest and Scientist, a technology specialist.

Vy’keen

The Vy’keen are warriors with a strict code of honor. They have a strong military base, and are considered to be one of the strongest forces in the universe. Offending a Vy’keen in conversation could lead to violence, so you’ll need to be careful what you say around them. Players are able to gain reputation with the Vy’keen Faction by having successful dialogues with them, encouraging distressed Vy’keen, accepting a blessing from the Priest, and reporting military-related crimes. Ranking up in reputation with the Vy’keen race will earn players the ability to trade and interact, new dialogue, Units, repair requests, and new interaction options. There are four notable members of the Vy’keen Faction: Hirk the Great, an ancient war leader, Nal, the rival of Hirk, Armourer, a weapons specialist, and Technician, an exocraft specialist.
