As you might have heard, there is no shortage of weapons in Borderlands 3, but what about emotes? Thankfully, 2K has players covered when it comes to using emotes. On PC, simply press the Z button to open up the Borderlands 3 emote wheel. From there, you can choose whatever emote you’d like. If you’re playing on an Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you’ll need to press and hold the pause button on your controller. Similar to PC, this will open up the emote wheel, allowing to choose whichever one you want.
Unfortunately, players can only equip four Borderlands 3 emotes at a time. While this is slightly annoying, there are Quick-Change machines throughout the game, which will allow players to refresh their emotes. It shouldn’t be too hard to find one, and if you’ve already played through the tutorial, you’ll know exactly what we are talking about.
You can also use the emote wheel in Borderlands 3 to duel other players and ping things on the map. Emotes are great because they are a simple way to express what you’re thinking. For example, if you’re playing in co-op and a friend does something stupid, you could use the laugh or shrug emotes to let them know just how dumb they are.
Now that you know how to emote in Borderlands 3, get out there and use them.
