Let’s dive right into where you have to look for the Gigamind Borderlands 3 location. It isn’t something that you can find from the beginning of the game, but it is a mission’s end boss that you will encounter if you progress far enough into the story.

The Gigamind boss battle takes during at the end of the Hostile Takeover mission. This happens to be the sixth main mission in the campaign. You have to have completed the Sanctuary mission first to unlock this, so ensure you have before heading into this quest.

To start this quest, you’ll need to speak to Lilith and be level 12 at the very least. Any rank below this and you’ll struggle to progress through the mission, let alone make it to Gigamind. Once you accept this mission from Lilith, you have to go and speak to Ellie and then progress through the quest’s objectives. There is a number of them, and a lot of them involve talking to Lorelei and completing sub-quests along the way.

Once you reach the end of Hostile Takeover, you’ll run into Gigamind without having to divert to a different location. He’s the final boss of this quest, and you’ll come across him in the Meridian Metroplex on Promethea. This shouldn’t be a difficult fight if you’re at a high enough level, so beat him up and grab all of that delicious loot.
