Untitled Goose Game has your goose anti-hero causing a ruckus in its town, and one prime victim of your mischief is a local boy. Found in the second area of the game, the boy is busy playing with a toy airplane and a soccer ball when you encounter him. A bunch of your objectives in this area revolve around making his life more difficult, which includes you being asked to make someone buy back their own stuff.
Here’s how to make someone buy back their own stuff in Untitled Goose Game:
Untitled Goose Game | Make someone buy back their own stuff
You’ll need to make the boy buy back his toy airplane in order to complete this objective. In order to do this, you first need to steal the toy airplane without being detected. This is an easy task, with the boy routinely circling the street and giving you ample opportunity to steal the airplane from off the bench.
After doing so, you’ll need to head over to the outdoor store. You don’t need to worry about alerting the shopkeeper, so wander into its center and drop the toy airplane in a place she can find it. When she picks it up, she’ll put it on the stand in the center of the store.
Now that the toy airplane is officially for sale, you’ll need to let the boy know that it’s there. The easiest way to do this is to remove his glasses — do this by untying his shoelaces (crouch down and grab them), and then take the glasses from off his face when he’s bending down.
The boy will now follow you in order to retrieve his glasses. Stay close to him and honk, leading him to the store. When he reaches the toy airplane, he’ll promptly grab it (even without his glasses) before the shopkeeper will confront him.
When the shopkeeper confronts the boy, she’ll force him to pay for the toy airplane. You’ll have then completed the objective.
