From the options menu you can toggle whether bombs are detonated with a double-tap of the screen or quick shake of your device. The latter is surprisingly preferable.
If you die midway through a mission, you're allowed the option to restart the level in which you died. In other words, you don't have to start the entire mission over from the first level.
Auto-pause is toggled on by default; however, you can switch it off to require manual pausing from the option.
