You can unlock four additional minis as you play through the game, by satisfying the corresponding conditions indicated below:
  • Mini Peach - Begin playing Puzzle Palace
  • Mini Toad - Begin playing Many Mini Mayhem
  • Mini DK - Begin playing Giant Jungle
  • Mini Pauline - Complete the level 1 mini-games

Puzzle Palace

Once you clear Mario's Main Event 1-10, you'll unlock Puzzle Palace.
