The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1.06 update patch notes are now available to read, with developer Infinity Ward rolling out a new update today on November 2. PC, PS4, and Xbox One players will now be able to “Check for updates” to force the new patch to download and install, if it doesn’t do so automatically. The size of the new update is 1.815 GB on PS4. More Crash Fixes
If you’ve not yet been able to play the enjoy the latest Call of Duty due to crashing issues, then you’ll be happy to hear that the developers have rolled out new fixes to help with stability. Here’s hoping installing the 1.06 update puts an end to your troubles!

Soldier Voices Removed
The new Modern Warfare 1.06 update also removes “battlechatter” from tactical, one-life modes. This means characters won’t be shouting out and giving away the player’s position. Those playing Search and Destroy, Cyber Attack, and Gunfight will no doubt appreciate this change!
Claymores Nerf
Players can now use stun grenades to disable claymores for three seconds. This should help you get the drop on those pesky campers.
Footsteps Nerf
Adjustments have been made to “tame” the third-person footsteps.
New Game Modes
NVG (Team Deathmatch only) and Kill Confirmed have now been introduced to the game. Players can select these game modes from the Multiplayer menu.

- Fix for charms affecting weapon performance when firing from the hip
- Claymores: Stun grenades can now force claymores into a disabled state for 3 seconds
- Footsteps: Adjustments to tame the 3rd person footsteps. They will now filter out based on occlusion more.
- Fix to an issue where Tac Inserts could cause players to spawn out of bounds
- Fix for the gold camo not unlocking on the .357
