Blair Witch PS4 release date very good boy

Blair Witch PS4 release date and dog customization announced

Things are about to get spooky for console gamers! The Blair Witch PS4 release date has been announced. There’s more to the story than the Blair Witch horror game making its way to the PS4, though — a batch of brand-new dog customization content will let you give Bullet a brand-new look.

Developer Bloober Team announced the Blair Witch PS4 release date today in a press release along with a reveal of some new upcoming content that’s on the way. The game’s been out for the PC and Xbox One for a while, and now we know that you’ll be able to buy it digitally on the PS4 starting on December 3, 2019.

The PS4 version of the game is going to include “gameplay and technical enhancements”, although what these improvements are haven’t yet been specified. What has been specified is something new that is being added for your in-game canine companion Bullet: the (rather appropriately-named) “Good Boy Pack”.

Here’s what’s coming in the Good Boy Pack:

  • New dog skins
  • New content for the in-game cellphone, including:
    • Games
    • Wallpapers
    • Other content
  • New animations for Bullet

The Good Boy pack should presumably be arriving with the game when it launches on the PS4, although PC and Xbox One players aren’t being left out in the cold, either — they’ll be getting their hands on the Good Boy Pack as well.

You also won’t be restricted to getting a digital version, either. A physical retail release will be arriving at a later date, although buying it digitally will undoubtedly be the only way to get it first. We should expect to hear more details about the physical release and the launch of this new content on other platforms in the near future.

The Blair Witch PS4 release date is December 3, 2019. In the meantime, you can check out an extra-spooky brand-new trailer below.
