How to fix the Fortnite “Servers Not Responding” error
In order to ensure that there aren’t any issues with your setup preventing you from playing Fortnite, simply follow these steps:
- Follow the on-screen button prompt at the Fortnite main menu to retry connecting to the game servers
- If that doesn’t work, restart the game and try again
- Still no luck? Reboot your chosen device and then give it another shot
- Should you still be encountering issues, reset your internet router and try once again after the connection is restored

When will Fortnite be back up for Chapter 4 season 2?
Fortnite should be back up around 1 AM–2 AM PT and 4 AM–5 AM ET on December 10, with Epic typically taking around three hours to deploy its major updates.
