Fencer - Enhaced Thruster Pack
As the Fencer, you can reach the top of nearly any building, provided you have a weapon with a side thruster (such as a blast hole spear) and a weapon with a thruster pack (such as a hard gatling). First, use the thruster pack to increase your altitude and then quickly follow that up by using the side thruster to dash forward while in mid-air. Use other buildings and their ledges to reset the thruster pack and repeat the action, which allows you to eventually reach your intended destination high above the streets.
Final Boss Tips
The final boss can be difficult, but there's a relatively safe area where you can make your final stand. First, take out the plasma cannons, then head to the safe spot. You can reach that safe spot by walking straight forward from the park where you first spawn. Proceed to the first intersection and then look directly right to spot a small overpass. You can find shelter underneath it, gaining a lot of extra protection from any remaining cannons. It's not far from where backup units spawn, plus the shelter itself is indestructible. From your vantage point, you can use long range weapons to wreak havoc on your foes, which should give you a nice advantage during the remainder of the encounter.
