What Are Pokemon Sword and Shield Star Sweets and Ribbon Sweets?

Before we let you in on how to get hold of Star Sweets and Ribbon Sweets in Pokemon Sword and Shield, we’ll let you know what they are. The new items are intrinsically linked with Milcery and Alcremie. These are held items for Milcery. Giving Milcery a Star Sweet or a Ribbon Sweet to hold will allow it to evolve into two new forms of Alcremie (as seen in the screenshot above).

How to Get Pokemon Sword and Shield Star Sweets and Ribbon Sweets

If you want to complete your Alcremie forms collection, you will need to get hold of a Star Sweet and a Ribbon Sweet. Fortunately, there is one simple way to get hold of them. To get a Star Sweet or Ribbon Sweet in Pokemon Sword and Shield, you need to win a Max Raid Battle against a Milcery. Currently, this is the only known way of obtaining both the Star and Ribbon Sweet.

It seems as though getting this item may be time-limited, too. Special Milcery are appearing in Max Raid Battles until February 16, 11:59 PM GMT. It’s unclear if Milcery will appear again as a Max Raid Battle. Use the time remaining to get both the Star and Ribbon Sweet before they might be gone.
