Riot Games’ Valorant closed beta has just gone live for those lucky enough to have access, which means there are sure to be some early teething problems. Perhaps first and foremost among these are the Valorant performance issues that are being reported, including problems with the number of frames per second (FPS) that the all-new shooter runs at. How to increase FPS in Valorant
Valorant is intended to be a highly competitive multiplayer shooter — so much so that PC is the main platform, rather than consoles, in order to avoid technical compromise — marring elements from Overwatch and Counter-Strike. That sentiment is all well and good, but not really worth much when the PC version suffers from low FPS.

In an effort to address the Valorant FPS issues, there are a few things you can do:

- Navigate to the Valorant graphics options menu and lower your visual settings.
- Kill the Valorant application, close the Riot Games client, then boot everything back up.
- Try playing at off-peak times — demand for the closed beta is currently high.

Since the title is currently in closed beta, try to provide as much detail in any reports to help aid the development process and keep in mind that problems are par for the course at this stage.
