Character Guide (S and SS Rank)







Players can obtain new characters in Terra Battle with the requisite Energy. Head to the tavern with at least five Energy to select a new character from the Pact of Truth. At that point, you will receive a random character to join the squad. Some characters simply join as part of the story though, so keep that in mind.



Characters fall into one of four ranks: SS, S, A, or B. The rankings denote rarity, with SS being the most rare. In addition, players can recruit beasts at the Tavern with the Pact of Fellowship. This requires coins and often results in lesser squad members, but if you have the coins to spend it's worth a shot.



Listed below are all characters that fall under the S or SS class. A and B rank characters can be found in our other Character Guide. Also, this guide only lists starting classes, though characters can obtain multiple jobs with different abilities.



S Rank



Alika



With pale skin, gleaming golden hair, and mismatched eyes, Alika is a captivating young woman with an ephemeral, mystical beauty. Though only 20 years old, her heart wallows in a void between past and future, for the man she loved above all else is now dead, leaving her alone in the world. She remains captive to a prison of memories. Her reluctance to let go of a certain device attests to this. Known as a hologram display, this relic from an ancient civilization projects vivid images of the man who now lives only in her memory. As she gazes at those luminous images, her profile can only be described as beautiful.

Bonna



Bonna is a young beastwoman who is well known as a teen idol in the overworld. In fact, she reigns as the most popular of them all. She dresses bizarrely, but that's par for the course in the world of showbiz. Bonna loves to sing and is always singing something or other to herself. She is hopeless at writing lyrics, however. They're so bad that her fans don't even find them funny. That she is such a good singer makes it all the more tragic. Bonna has recently developed an advanced vocal technique that allows her to sing and hum at the same time. When performed this way, lyrics previously dubbed abysmal suddenly bloom into truly spectacular songs.

The majestic Bahamut governs a crystal realm, into which lost travelers may wander. Wielding god-like strength, it can call forth meteors.

Djugan



Djugan is a blind warrior who has developed heightened senses of hearing and smell that allow him to detect an opponent's location with startling accuracy. This is said to be a result of his addiction to the thrill of battle. He is also famously obsessive about cleanliness, and it is said that his superb sense of smell can detect filth and germs invisible to the naked eye.

Ellvern



Ellvern is a 60-year-old physician well versed in all manner of medicines. He is not an officially sanctioned doctor, however, and consequently practices his arts in secret. He has a dark air about him, perhaps due to his life in the shadows. No one knows why he strayed from his path of light. His medical skills are top-notch, a fact he has proven time and time again as the personal physician to a number of prominent figures. He shows interest only in vast sums of money.

Gatz



This mischievous 13-year-old is an adroit pickpocket, thief, and swindler. Though it's earned Gatz a bad reputation, he steals not out of malice but simply for fun, considering it a sort of game. He gives the spoils of his exploits to the children of needy friends, endearing him to many. He often says he can't wait to grow up and become the mightiest of swordsmen.

Gegonago



Gegonago is a beastman who sports sunglasses and a long beard. He is currently researching the art of spatial manipulation, an extremely rare field of magic that attempts to tamper with the laws of physics within a particular range. He conducts his research in battle and has so far managed to cause fluctuations in the energy of physical and magical attacks. His method of invoking such effects is highly unique. He plays certain melodies on the piano, and special frequencies they contain allegedly tamper with the surrounding space.

Lunaken



Lunaken is the younger of the two brothers who guard Princess Palpa. He is a knight chosen from among the best and brightest of the stonefolk. He is candid and lively and likes to clown around. He's actually developed feelings for the princess, but sensing that his brother yearns for her too, he's locked them away deep in his heart.

Lunato



Lunato is the elder of the two brothers who guard Princess Palpa. he is a knight chosen from the best and brightest of the stonefolk. While he can be tactless and serious to a fault, he is a man of true integrity. He's actually developed feelings for the princess, but knowing that it can lead nowhere due to their difference in station, he's locked those feelings away to ensure that no one ever suspects it.

Palpa



Palpa is the reigning sovereign of the stonefolk. She has only recently taken the throne with the passing of her father, the king. She heeds the wise words of her ancestors and strives to one day prove a worthy queen. The royal family has been sworn to a certain duty for generations. Tradition holds that wayfarers seeking the Maker will appear one day. When that day comes, the sovereign must ascertain whether those seekers are truly righteous.

Puprope



Pupropé is the niece of Palpa, princess of the stonefolk. Though she is but a child, her royal blood gives her a rare, mystical power: unassailable defense. Once it fully awakens, it will surely prove invaluable in protecting her people. She is still very much a child, however, and one cannot expect too much of her just yet. She's quite the little rascal, far more interested in stirring up mischief than in boring grown-up things.

Pupropu



Pupropu is the nephew of Palpa, princess of the stonefolk. Though he is but a child, his royal blood has given him an invaluable power: the ability to control any biological activity save for death. Once he masters this power, it is believed he should be able to conquer all manner of illness and disease. He is still very much a child, however, and one cannot expect too much of him just yet. He's still a pampered little boy who has yet to grow out of sucking his thumb.

Zafitte is a young beastwoman making a name for herself as a teen idol in the overworld. She dresses bizarrely, but that's par for the course in the world of showbiz. She loves to dance and is always practicing steps of some sort. She isn't very good, however, and just seems curiously hyperactive most of the time. Nonetheless, she takes great pride in being an idol and tends to act rather aloof because of it. Oddly, this gap between perception and reality only seems to fuel her popularity.

Zeera is a young beastwoman making a name for herself as a teen idol in the overworld. She dresses bizarrely, but that's par for the course in the world of showbiz.  She loves flowers so much that she always has them growing from a handful of soil in her pocket.  It seems she belongs to a rare species of beastfolk possessing a special power known as the "Green Thumb." This power nurtures life and energy and is evidently the reason the beloved plants she carries about are able to grow without being rooted in the earth.

Zuzu



Zuzu is from a beastfolk tribe that traces its lineage to a clan of ninjas from the East. He can be all but invisible when he chooses and moves without a sound. He moves so swiftly that he can appear to be in two places at once. In his pursuit of agility he has sacrificed strength, however, so his skill with weapons is second-rate.

Amimari



Amimari is a nurse. The thrifty beastwoman still wears the same uniform purchased with her first month's wages. Although it no longer fits, she says she doesn't mind because her retirement fund is a bigger concern. The beautifully arranged box lunches she makes in her spare time are said to have transcended mere hobby to reach the level of art. She perpetuates her mother's love by never harboring grudges toward anyone. "Love thy neighbor and forgive the trespasses of others" are the words she lives by.

Amina is a 20-year-old nurse who is always among the first to swoop onto the scene in times of crisis. While she wears a standard-issue mantle, there is nothing standard about the rest of her outfit, carefully handpicked to create a bold look of her own. This is part of an attempt at self-promotion to stand out as an individual. She is a perfectionist who insists on quality work and won't overlook even the slightest mistakes. She suffers from chronically stiff shoulders as a result.

A'misandra



A'misandra is a nurse of the lizardfolk. She wears a slightly oversized nurse's gown like a cloak because it reminds her of her aristocratic roots. As one might expect of that lineage, grace and refinement are evident in her bearing and behavior. For her, teatime after a hard day's work is a particular treat.

Camellia is a 24-year-old woman whose wanton ways are no secret around the city's pleasure quarter. She revels in all the pleasures of the flesh and has earned some highly unflattering nicknames.

Czekras



Czekras is the war chief of a tribe that dwells on scorching grasslands. He can use ice spells simply because his people believe in a guardian deity that prizes balance above all else. Just as yin counterbalances yang, it is freezing ice that brings balance to the torrid plains. While his exact age is unknown, Czekras is thought to be a child, for the people of his tribe are short-lived and trained as warriors from a very young age. The battle raiment this proud warrior wears is made by the women of his tribe. He wears it with affection and will do so until the day he dies--a symbol of the bonds that connect them.

Gaiga



Gaiga is an uninhibited beastwoman who shows off her body with scanty clothing. This is her way of getting what she wants from the world, and though she is sometimes chastised for it, she doesn't care so long as it gives her some sort of advantage. The mechanical bow she uses is her own handiwork, crafted from an assortment of discarded machines.

Gugba



Gugba is short and stout, and he barely has a neck. The beastman warrior rather resembles a member of the extinct dwarven race. Life in a frigid cave deep in snow-covered mountains has greatly increased the density of his body fat, making him far heavier than he appears. He has the ability to leap into the air and shake the earth upon landing. When wearing the heavy device he's obtained, he generates a moderate earthquake just by stumbling slightly, earning him the moniker "Gugba the Seismic."

Koko



Many stonewomen abhor combat and choose the life of a nun, but not Koko. She sees it as the difference between simply accepting one's fate and seizing it by the horns. Koko prefers the latter. But for her, it is not simply about combat per se; rather it is a matter of self-respect.

With his days numbered, he sought his final resting place until he encountered the wayfarers journeying to the heart of the planet. Their fervor has reinvigorated him and spurred him to action.

Olber



Olber is a 35-year-old captain of the Royal Guard. He was lauded for his discipline, skill, and readiness to give up his life in the line of duty at any time. He was promoted to captain despite being a non-commissioned officer. At home, however, he drank excessively and was the epitome of arrogance. His wife eventually left him, unable to take it anymore. This heavy-handed behavior has condemned him to a life alone.

Piz'fer



Piz'fer the lizardman is a sorcerer who counts mini-orblings among his closest friends. His bond with them manifests as a power more implacable than ice. As a child. he fell into a pond and would have drowned if not for the mini-orblings that saved him. From that day forward he has shared his life with them. Mini-orblings generally do not take to other species, and it is said that only those with a special genetic structure can coexist with them. Piz'fer is currently conducting research on this.

Rikken



Older than her sister by just a few minutes, she's fond of big hats and is never without her trusty child-sized hunting bow. Like her twin sister, she is smart and exceptionally gifted at reading people. But whereas Yukken overwhelms adversaries with her sheer volume of words, Rikken love to bring them to their knees by deftly arguing circles around them until they have nowhere left to run.

Yukken



Yukken is Rikken's twin sister. Younger than her sister by just a few minutes, she radiates a sunny disposition and loves to wear big ribbons. She has a gift for gab that gushes forth and overwhelms opponents. like a raging river. She has a keen eye and a quick wit, so be prepared to be pulverized if you ever get into a quarrel with her.

Sheena is a 20-year-old woman who seeks to fuse her two passions: dancing and swordsmanship. Many have tried to meld the two disciplines in the past, often resulting in little more than flashy swordplay. Not so with Sheena. You see, the true nature of her talent is healing. It's a curious gift that galvanizes rapid cellular division and white blood cell activity.

He has a striking masochistic streak, leaping at the opportunity for perilous jobs whenever offered. One might say the closer he is to death, the greater his exhilaration. He prefers solitude, living by the creed that one can rely only on oneself for protection. And no matter how many targets an assignment involves, he always gets the job done on his own.

Zerro



Zerro the beastwoman is a sorceress who dwells in the darkness. Her bond with mini-orblings can deepen darkness into an abyssal gloom as impenetrable as that of the netherworld itself. She was born into a family of dark magic wielders but detested her lineage and would not actively pursue mastery of that power. Her family was exiled, branded a disgrace due to Zerro's contempt for her own hereditary talents and relinquishment of duty to her people.
