Super Mario 3D All-Stars Amazon shipping is reportedly delayed

Super Mario 3D All-Stars Amazon shipping has been delayed for some people according to several reports. Today is the day that this collection of 3D Mario games was supposed to arrive and it looks like some people are going to be disappointed.

A little over two weeks ago, a special Nintendo Direct was released which showed off all of the cool stuff coming out to celebrate Mario’s 35th anniversary. One of the new games was Super Mario 3D All-Stars, a collection that includes revamped versions of Super Mario 64Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy.

Unfortunately, this cool collection of Mario games is only going to be available for a limited time. Many Mario fans went to online retailers to immediately pre-order it and secure themselves a physical copy, but now they’re discovering that Super Mario 3D All-Stars Amazon shipping has been delayed for some customers.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars Amazon shipping delayed e-mail

“We’re encountering a delay in shipping your order,” read an e-mail from Amazon. “We’ll send confirmation as soon as its ships and communicate the expected delivery date. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Dozens of gamers on Reddit are reporting irregularities with Super Mario 3D All-Stars Amazon shipping. One user says that his order is flagged as arriving today by 8:00 PM local time even though it hasn’t shipped yet, noting that he encountered a similar situation with an Amazon order for an Oddworld game a few weeks ago.

Naturally, this shortage has also brought out the scalpers just as we predicted — one listing for the game on Amazon is charging $69.95 for a physical copy of the game. eBay is also littered with scalpers charging a premium for physical copies, although there aren’t yet any truly absurd prices as we saw with the recent GeForce RTX 3080 pre-order fiasco.

Although Super Mario 3D All-StarsSuper Mario 3D All-Stars Amazon shipping has been disappointingly delayed, these customers will likely get their games in the next few days. If you missed out on pre-ordering it for yourself, you’ll be happy to hear that  is back in stock on Amazon — just don’t be too surprised if it doesn’t arrive when it’s supposed to.
