One user says that his order is flagged as arriving today by 8:00 PM local time even though it hasn’t shipped yet, noting that he encountered a similar situation with an Amazon order for an Oddworld game a few weeks ago.
Naturally, this shortage has also brought out the scalpers just as we predicted — one listing for the game on Amazon is charging $69.95 for a physical copy of the game. eBay is also littered with scalpers charging a premium for physical copies, although there aren’t yet any truly absurd prices as we saw with the recent GeForce RTX 3080 pre-order fiasco.
