Call of Duty Warzone | What is Buy Back Quads?

To keep the Call of Duty: Warzone experience fresh, the developers occasionally introduce new gameplay modes. These LTMs, or limited-time modes, offer a different way to experience the game. One of them is called Buy Back Quads, and as the name implies, it’s a mode that encourages players to collect and spend money. Here’s how it works.

What is Buy Back Quads in Warzone?

Buy Back Quads is a limited-time Warzone variant mode that places an emphasis on money. After dying, members of quad-based teams can buy their way back into the match. This removes the need to win a Gulag fight or wait for a respawn from your teammates.

Buy Back Quad’s focus on money demands a greedy play style. You’ll want to earn as much as you can as quickly as you can. Without the Gulag, you won’t be able to find your way back into a match through shooting prowess alone. Instead, you’ll need $4,000 dollars to drop back onto the island.

It’s a unique way of playing that changes just enough of the base battle royale to keep things fresh. Of course, Buy Back Quads is only a limited-time mode, typically appearing for a weekend or so before it disappears.

To stay on top of the latest limited-time modes landing in Warzone, be sure to follow the Call of Duty Twitter account. There you can find updates about new map rotations in Modern Warfare as well as announcements of new content in Warzone. This account will also provide updates about Black Ops Cold War as well, including cross-progression features shared between both games.

Simply put, Buy Back Quads is a money-focused limited-time Warzone mode. It’s as the name implies: It allows you to buy your way back to the island instead of fighting for supremacy in the Gulag. Enjoy it now while you can, as there’s no telling when it will return once it’s gone.
