How to get skill points in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Players can get skill points in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in a few ways:
- Leveling up
- Completing standing stones missions
- Finishing offering missions
Leveling up is the easiest way to get points and it will happen naturally. Eivor gains experience by doing pretty much anything. This stretches from doing side missions to finding collectibles to killing enemies, just to name a few. Leveling will happen naturally and reward the player with two skill points. A turquoise wave will wash over Eivor, a sound effect will play, and a pop up will notify the player of their new skill points. Eyeing the XP counter in the top right will also let players know when they can expect some points.
Standing stone missions are different in that they yield a single skill point upon completion. They task the player with using Odin’s Sense to align the symbols in the right way. They are marked on the map by three light blue pillars, as shown in the above picture.
When the player finds the right angle, Eivor will sit down and one single skill point will be given out. These missions are somewhat rare, but still easy to spot because they’re always signaled by a collected of big rocks.
The offering altars are another special type of side mission that yields a single skill point upon completion. They are marked by the two hands and a cup, as seen in the above picture.
These side missions can also be easily found as it is just one tall stone. These have offering baskets on one side and ask for either some hunting materials or something else. Once the offer has been made, the mission is complete.
