Assassin's Creed Valhalla | How to get tungsten ingots

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fabric locations

Knowing how to get fabric in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the key to getting a bigger quiver and ration pouch. But thread is not a common material, especially in the beginning of the game. Here’s where to get fabric in ACV.

How to get fabric in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

To get nickel ingots in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, players can open big chests, buy them in shops, trade hunting items for them, or trade in fish. Nickel ingots are used in enhancing weapons and gear at the blacksmith. This is different from upgrading gear from the inventory menu, which only takes fabric, iron ore, and leather.

To get fabric in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players must venture out of the opening areas. Fabric is found in the mid-tier and high-tier areas of the game such as, but not limited to, Lincolnshire, Oxenefordscire, Sciropescire, and any other territories in and around that level range.

It is not like the other materials in that it seems to almost exclusively be found in chests. It is often bundled with other items like iron ore and leather. It is not usually found in giant chests with carbon ingotsnickel ingots, or tungsten ingots. Fabric is almost always found in smaller chests that aren’t marked by gold bars on the map; just the small chests that show up in Odin’s Sense.

And with the 1.0.4 patch, fabric can now be purchased from traders at the settlement. However, it will take some time as the settlement has to be level six for fabric to show up as an item. This patch also increased the limit of fabric the player can hold to 82.

Fabric is not as ubiquitous as other items. Unlike copper ingots, nickel ingots, or tungsten ingots, fabric is used to upgrade the arrow quiver and ration pouch. It only has one true use. And as such, it can’t be purchased or traded for. It can only be found within the world, as the in-game description also says.

Fabric has a lot in common with titanium. However, fabric cannot be purchased at shops. Fabric upgrades the middle and later stages of the arrow quiver and upgrade pouch while titanium is for upgrading mid-tier and high-tier weapons. Fabric does not seem to spawn when the quiver and ration pouches are fully upgraded so, unless a future patch changes that, be sure to stockpile some as it is required for a offering altar mission.

To see how much fabric is in their inventory, players can go to the inventory screen. The number of fabric is on the right side of the screen right above titanium and right below leather and iron ore. Opening up more chests is sure to make that number go higher.
